Corrosion Engineer

Location : Map Ta Phut, Rayong

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical solutions regarding corrosion problems and materials selection.
  • Create optimum inspection and/or monitoring plan relating possible damage mechanisms.
  • Perform root cause failure analysis for static and rotating equipment.
  • Improve plant reliability and asset integrity by applying the corrosion management strategy and RBI concept.
  • Create new methodologies or find new technologies to control corrosion.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in metallurgical, materials or welding engineering. (At least 2.7 GPA for Bachelor and 3.3 GPA for Master)
  • Good Command in English (TOEIC 550)
  • Experience 3-5 years in inspection or corrosion engineering for oil and gas, petrochemical or chemical industries.
  •  Knowledgeable in corrosion mechanisms, materials and NDT methods.
  • API, NACE or ASNT certificates would be advantage.
