Procurement Expeditor (Yearly Contract)

Location : Map Ta Phut, Rayong

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure that all EPC’s purchase orders (equipment, packages, bulks, spares parts, etc.) are registered, planned and scheduled, controlled and monitored, expedited, inspected, delivered, handled, stored and preserved, and released for Site fabrication/installation per approval plan, procedures and method statement as well as project requirements, project specification, and the relevant codes and standards.
  • To coordinate with EPC’s procurement team for controlling, monitoring and expediting the fabrication schedule of ordered bulks and equipment and to report overall material status highlighting the critical items to Project Control Manager.
  • To coordinate EPC’s procurement team for the Vendor’s inspection and test schedule as well as to notify PTT’s engineering team to attend pre-inspection meeting (PIM) and Vendor shop inspection activities per the approval inspection and test plan (ITP).
  • To review the transportation plans and schedules, and monitor the status of delivery from Vendor shop to the Site
  • To coordinate with BOI for the import plan and schedule, and material list.
  • At Site, to participate in materials inspections, materials audits and safety observations as required.
  • To ensure that all Notifications, Receiving Inspection reports, being progressively collated, are accurate and fully traceable to the work they relate to.
  • Responsible for a day to day coordination with relevant parties such as EPC Contractor Material Management Personnel, Contractor Material/Procurement Personnel, related Material issues including manage of Surplus and Disposal.
  • To monitor Material Surplus and Disposal process are followed an applicable work instruction, Procedures, and Applicable Laws and Regulations. Regular visit various scrap area of EPC Contractor such as Company construction site, Sub Contractor, Module Yards to ensure the project approved scrap management procedures are followed.
  • Maintain all information for status of materials on weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with construction team to schedule all deliveries and manage all delays and ensure compliance to all material requests.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field.
  • Experience 2-5 years for Procurement Engineer/ Contract Engineer in construction service / contract management in construction, oil and gas industries, EPC / PMC project.
  • Basic knowledge in Chemical and Petrochemical Industry
  • Knowledge of inventory and material management and disposal and the relevant.
  • Analytical and planning skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure both inbound/outbound and service min
  • Good in Speaking, Reading and Writing in English.
