GC Maintenance & Engineering Company Limited (GCME), as an expert in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), has been entrusted by PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) to execute front end engineering design (FEED) to enhance the quality and increase the efficiency of the plant through the Pygas Upgrading Project, which is located at GC Branch 4, Aromatics 1. The project is divided into three main sections: –
•Revamp Existing Sulfolane & New Extraction Distillation Sulfolane Unit
•Revamping Benzene Toluene Fractionation Unit
•OSBL Utilities including Waste, Emission and Storage Tanks
This project is a challenge for GCME to have the opportunity to offer services in ISBL and modify existing Sulfolane units, which requires experience and expertise in design, including process and other disciplines. Finally, as a result of one-team work between customers and GCME, the implementation of this project is smooth and achievable within a specified period of time.
