Location : Materials, Metallurgical, Corrosion Engineer (Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance plant reliability and asset integrity by providing optimized inspection planning and monitoring recommendations relating possible damage mechanisms.• Evaluate and select appropriate materials for various engineering applications.• Create inspection and test plans to monitor the condition of assets.• Perform root cause failure analysis for static and rotating equipment with the optimized recommendations.• Establish integrity operating windows to manage and control corrosion issues.• Develop new methodologies and explore new technologies to effectively control corrosion.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in metallurgical, materials, production or welding engineering.• Experience 2-7 years in inspection or corrosion engineering for oil & gas, petrochemical or chemical industries.• Knowledgeable in corrosion mechanisms, materials and NDT methods.• API, NACE or ASNT certificates would be advantage.• Good analytical skill, collaboration, and drive to result.• Good command in English both spoken and written
